Our In-Home Newborn Care allows us to work alongside you to teach and guide you on how to work through the above with your newborn. In addition, our In-Home Newborn Care includes Breastfeeding Support and Sleep Training.

Breastfeeding Support
We will work directly with the mother to support breastfeeding the newborn. Just like everything else, this is a unique experience between the mother and the baby and it's important to find what works best for Mom and newborn. Our support includes guidance for latching on, burping, the best nursing position for Mom and baby, making sure the baby is getting enough to eat, and proper milk storage. In addition, we will support Mom with any issues such as sore and cracked nipples, milk let down, and healthy milk supply.

Sleep Training
It's important to establish a healthy sleep routine from the start. We will work with you to come up with a sleep routine that works for your family. When you first bring your newborn home, we will create a solid eat and sleep routine for the newborn to follow. From 0-3 months, the newborn should sleep between 14 - 17 hours during a 24-hour period. Some babies may even sleep 18 - 19 hours a day. Parents should plan to feed the baby every 2 - 3 hours. Each baby is different and we will work with you to find your baby's sweet spot.

Our goal is to help you through those critical first steps each step of the way!
